NYC and Snow!

This past weekend was spent partially in NYC. My boyfriend lives in Brooklyn and works at The Molecule. Friday while he was working I spent the day exploring after I met him for his lunch break. I walked around the fashion district where I visited the wonderful Tinsel Trading Company, which reminded me a lot of shops in France! I got some velvet ribbon and cute little bows.
New York was decked out for Christmas, it felt so festive! I passed many beautiful window displays, and enjoyed ice skaters at "The Pond at Bryant Park".
After walking through Times Square I made my way down to SoHo where I found the coolest antique toy store, stopped in at PurlSoHo, and a bunch of other shops until Chester was done work. That night we went to Rockefeller to see the newly lit tree, and the millions of people there. Too many people, so we left looking for food, which somehow was harder than we thought! But we ended up eating a great Thai dinner, another birthday celebration!Arent we cute? Saturday we were planning on coming back to Perkasie. On our way, the rain started turning into snow, and by the time we crossed back into PA the roads were getting covered! Little did I know our "new" car doesnt do so well in the snow, so I was sliding all over the road and I was scared. I made it to a gas station 20 minutes from my house, and like a little girl called my dad to come pick us up in his big truck. It was funny, but atleast I didnt wreck my car that day! We made it safe and sound, and woke up to a few inches of snow, and a white backyard!
